Facilities Engineer

Main Job Purpose:

The Facility Engineer ensures all warehouses run smoothly by overseeing maintenance of the building, equipment, and machinery. The role focuses on keeping everything running efficiently, reducing downtime, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage facility projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards.
• Create and carry out a preventive maintenance plan for all equipment to keep everything working properly.
• Supervise all maintenance tasks, ensuring repairs are done efficiently.
• Make the best use of maintenance resources (personnel, tools, equipment) to support daily operations.
• Monitor maintenance and utility costs.
• Plan the facility’s maintenance budget (CAPEX & OPEX), aligning with company goals.
• Implement a structured maintenance program to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Regularly test emergency systems (generators, fire pumps, sprinklers) to ensure they work properly and comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in facility management or maintenance engineering.
• Experience in refrigeration plant, HVAC, AHU is preferable
• Knowledge of maintenance equipment and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage budgets and preventive maintenance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
