Facade Surveyor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Facade Surveyor with hands-on experience in site surveying for façade works such as aluminium systems, curtain wall, cladding, and glass. The role involves layout marking, data coordination, and collaboration with installation and engineering teams to ensure precision and quality in façade execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout and marking for façade elements such as brackets, subframes, panels, and anchoring points.
• Conduct as-built surveys and submit reports for verification and approvals.
• Operate survey equipment (Total Station, Auto Level, GPS) to ensure accurate measurement and alignment.
• Coordinate with facade engineers and site teams to align survey data with shop drawings and project specifications.
• Maintain control points and perform regular checks to ensure surveying accuracy.
• Use software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare survey drawings, extract coordinates, and assist in layout planning.
• Support the QA/QC team with inspections and assist in resolving alignment or tolerance issues.
• Report daily progress, discrepancies, and coordinate with survey managers or supervisors for next-day planning.
• Proficient in using survey instruments.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic understanding of Civil 3D or similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret facade drawings, shop drawings, and construction specifications.
• Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, foremen, and facade teams.
• Basic understanding of curtain wall systems, aluminium panels, glass installations, and their fixing methods.
• Ability to work in high-rise and complex project environments.
