Job Description

Transform the events playbook with Tahaluf, a digital-first, transformational events organiser in Saudi Arabia. We're scaling to become the largest B2B Live and On Demand Events organiser, with impeccable local partners and a strong presence in the Kingdom's B2B and B2C events scene.

Join our ambitious team and be part of something BIG. We're bringing iconic brands to Saudi Arabia, including award-winning cyber-security events, and establishing Saudi-born brands like 24 Fintech, the largest debut Fintech event in history.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing the event strategy in conjunction with senior management.
  2. Transferring strategic objectives into tactical plans and leading their execution across sales, marketing, content, and operations.
  3. Designing and delivering outstanding customer experiences, creating innovative and interactive experiences.
  4. Ensuring planned exhibition growth and targets are achievable with available resources.
  5. Creating event content and features that ensure longer-term visitor interest and commercial success.
  6. Providing accurate and timely reporting of event KPIs and forecasts.
  7. Providing market, competitor, product, and visitor intelligence.
  8. Overseeing content development in conjunction with the Conference Director.
  9. Ensuring fresh and innovative content is being developed to elevate the show.
  10. Involved in conference themes, strategy, and positioning to ensure alignment with the overall exhibition.
  11. Overseeing speaker logistics team, executing VVIP service for international speakers.
  12. Collaborating closely with event sales lead to recommend and implement agreed sales strategy.
  13. Monitoring sales performance and tracking vs. forecasts closely to anticipate changes compared to forecasting.
  14. Delivering agreed revenue targets by value and volume.
  15. Working directly with the Marketing Director to contribute to the marketing strategy and oversee the execution of marketing plans and schedules.
  16. Positioning the event as an international leader with a focus on building the brand.
  17. Working closely with the marketing team to deliver global marketing campaigns and working with local partners to achieve significant visitor growth YOY.
  18. Monitoring marketing activities and ensuring they are executed on time and in-line with marketing plans.
  19. Continually liaising with Operations Department with respect to floor plans and ensuring client requirements are maintained.
  20. Being responsible for and ensuring compliance with company Health and Safety standards.
  21. Ensuring logistics plans are adhered to and execution is achieved within the agreed timeline.
  22. Assisting and providing support to the Operations team onsite, pre-during, and post-event.
  23. Generating ideas for innovative features or special events that will meet the needs and pain points of customers.
  24. Attracting international investors through a dedicated investor program.
  25. Ensuring timely reporting to ensure any issue areas are identified.
  26. Completing weekly reporting structure with the event management team.
  27. Preparing monthly project reports to be presented to Group Director.
  28. Preparing annual event budgets and forecasts.
  29. Creating an environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Minimum Educational Level: Educated to degree standard in a business or event management field.

Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Experience and background in Fintech is mandatory. Significant experience in a senior role within the exhibitions/consumer/brand sector. Extensive people management skills and experience. Experience with working in a pressured working environment. Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in English at all levels. Proficient in the use of Advanced MS Office including intermediate/advanced Word, PPT, Excel. Thorough understanding of regional business culture. Good understanding of the regional consumer market.
