The Role

As an Executive Sous Chef, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by assisting the Executive Chef in upholding high standards of food preparation and presentation while adhering to hotel and culinary guidelines.

Members of the Kitchen Department are responsible for ensuring that all visitors to the hotel are delighted by the quality, creativity and variety of our food and beverage offerings in every area of the hotel, and that F&B is regarded as a strong point of differentiation for the hotel in its local market.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

As Executive Sous Chef, you will need to:

  1. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to finalize the Food & Beverage department's contribution to the hotel's overarching strategic plans.
  2. Develop new menus and food items to cater to guests' tastes and dining needs. Respect local cultural customs and religious practices when preparing and serving all food at the establishment. Oversee the preparation and presentation of food products to ensure maximum quality.
  3. Implement procedures to minimize waste and excess production.
  4. Manage and lead task force missions for the hotel to support the opening of new Red Sea Global Hospitality properties.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environment procedures, instructions, and control by consistently reviewing kitchen operations and product standards.
  6. Report and take necessary action to address any health or safety risks.
  7. Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.
