JOB DESCRIPTION

An Executive Sous Chef is responsible for contributing to menu creation and managing and training the kitchen brigade to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while managing food cost controls.

As Executive Sous Chef, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  1. Contribute to menu creation
  2. Manage and train the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organised and motivated team
  3. Ensure consistency in quality of dishes at all times
  4. Assist the Head Chef and manage customer relations when necessary, in the absence of the Chef
  5. Ensure resources meet business needs through the effective management of working rotas
  6. Support brand standards through the training and assessment of your team
  7. Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue
  8. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards

  1. Strong Junior Sous Chef or previous Sous Chef Experience
  2. Approaches food in a creative way
  3. Strong supervisory skills

  7. Excellent grooming standards
  8. Excellent planning and organising skills

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  2. Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings
