We are in search of an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Medina, Saudi Arabia. As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Develop menus and create new dishes based on guest preferences and seasonal ingredients
Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive work environment
Ensure all food is prepared according to food safety standards and in a timely manner
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage costs to meet budget goals
Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and catering services
Train and mentor junior chefs to continuously improve skills and techniques
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting
Culinary degree or equivalent education/training preferred
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards success
Excellent knowledge of international cuisine, food trends, and cooking techniques
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
