Executive Assistant


As an Executive Assistant to the General Manager, you’ll provide a high-level administrative support, managing schedules, preparing reports, handling communications, and coordinating meetings. You’ll act as a liaison between the GM and other departments, ensuring smooth operations. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly.


A little taste of your day-to-day


Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

  1. Providing high-level administrative support and assistance to the General Manager and/or other assigned leadership team members.
  2. Performing clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff.
  3. Arranging travel and accommodations for the General Manager and/or other assigned leadership team members.
  4. Scheduling and attending meetings on behalf of executives, taking notes, and recording minutes.
  5. Receiving incoming communications or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviewing content, determining importance, and summarizing and/or distributing them to the appropriate staff.
  6. Performing office tasks, including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and handling basic bookkeeping.
  7. Performing additional duties as assigned by executives.
  8. Carrying out other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  3. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  4. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  5. Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
  6. Able to type minimum of 50 words per minute.
  7. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
