The ESG Manager will drive ESG strategy, implementation, and compliance, ensuring alignment with global standards, investment frameworks, and corporate governance best practices. This role will focus on IPO readiness, ESG risk management, and sustainability transformation across industries such as financial services, energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing.

With ESG playing a critical role in investment decision-making and due diligence, the ESG Manager will lead sustainability reporting, regulatory compliance, and responsible investment initiatives, while supporting organizations in embedding ESG principles into their business models. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement with executives, investors, and regulators, along with expertise in sustainable finance, impact investing, circular economy, and ethical supply chains.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead ESG due diligence processes for clients, ensuring alignment with global and Middle Eastern ESG frameworks.
  • Develop and implement ESG strategies, embedding sustainability into corporate governance, risk management, and operations.
  • Support organizations in building ESG capabilities, offering advisory on materiality assessments, disclosures, and ESG transformation.
  • Assist companies in preparing for IPO readiness, integrating ESG factors into investor reporting and financial disclosures.
  • Provide guidance on sustainability governance, climate risk, and responsible investing.
  • Develop long-term ESG roadmaps tailored to market regulations and business needs.
  • Advise clients on climate change policies, ESG reporting obligations, and industry best practices.
  • Stay ahead of evolving ESG trends, risks, and opportunities in the Middle East region.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in ESG, sustainability advisory, corporate governance, or regulatory compliance, with a preference for Middle East experience.
  • Candidates with experience working in corporate ESG advisory, investment firms, sustainability consulting, or operational risk management and sustainability solutions (such as those specializing in ESG risk, due diligence, and sustainability strategy implementation). Big 4 experience is not required, and ESG audit experience is not necessary.
  • Deep understanding of Middle Eastern ESG regulations, corporate sustainability challenges, and regional business practices.
  • Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred due to market engagement needs.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG due diligence, corporate reporting, sustainable finance, and IPO readiness.
