English Trainer- Online (Tamheer)

Responsibilities

• Assign homework, special projects, and reading assignments to students.
• Encourage student participation and lead discussions to keep students engaged in online learning activities using digital tools.
• Provide feedback to students and assign grades to their assignments, including auto grading.
• Assess and monitor individual student performance to ensure they are keeping up with the curriculum.
• Track student attendance to online classes and report absentees.
• Deliver live sessions online to large groups of students (25 to 200+) and prepare in advance for these sessions.
• Keep sessions interactive, exciting, and engaging.
• Conduct live webinars or recorded webinars to promote relevant courses to students.
• Work on and improve existing content (Classira, tests, assignments) as needed.
• Coordinate with internal content development and academic teams.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the respective reporting manager.

Skills

• Strong command of the English language and communication.
• Proficient in Zoom or other equivalent platforms.
• Ability to design activities suitable for virtual classrooms.
• Virtual classroom management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and basic computing skills.
• Ability to train fellows through activity-based and experiential learning methods using digital tools.
