Person Specification:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree, ideally gained at a UK University.
- UK Postgraduate Certificate of Education or Qualified Teacher Status.
- Relevant class teaching experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England, ideally.
- A strong academic background, stature, and experience that will command the respect of pupils, parents, colleagues, and the wider community.
- A commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of students.
- Knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practice.
Desirable skills and experience:
- An understanding of the demands of a UK independent school environment.
- Experience working with children who have English as an Additional Language.
