Engineer I, Projects Management Job

Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM) is a private company operating within the materials sector focusing on specialty chemicals.

An exciting opportunity is available for Engineer I, Projects Management based in Yanbu, reporting directly to Superintendent, Project Engineering.

About the role:

The Project Engineer oversees the end-to-end delivery of media to large new industrial facilities projects within the PMT of the company. Responsible for project safety, quality, and schedule performance, including subcontractors. Lead coordination of appropriate information flows among key stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the project from start to finish.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing infrastructure projects
• Project management and project scheduling
• Resolving day-to-day issues to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with project objectives
• Highly developed analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Team leadership and team building
• Preparing and reviewing standard project procedures
• Coordinating, implementing, testing, and delivering a project to produce an effective working system
• Finalizing all project activities, lessons learned collection, project record books, final as-built drawings, and closeout report
• Completing engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements
• Developing project objectives by reviewing project proposals, plans, and conferring with management
• Maintaining project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
• Determining project specifications by studying product design, stakeholder requirements, and performance standards
• Performing risk management to minimize project risk and manage all relevant issues

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering or equivalent
• PMP certificate
• 7 years of experience or more in a relevant field

Required Skills:

• Project management skills with a proven record of successfully managing all aspects of medium to large organizational-wide projects through to completion, including implementation and change management
• Demonstrated extensive and broad experience in leading, motivating, and developing a team of professionals to achieve objectives
• Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings and specifications to interpret a variety of instructions in legal, mathematical, or diagrammatic form
• Contractor and subcontractor management
• Ability to perform financial and mathematical analysis
• Ability to read and understand contracts
