Engineer I, OT Infrastructure Job

POSITION SUMMARY:

To support, maintain and administrate the Operational Technology Infrastructure & implement cyber security controls to assure safe and reliable operations.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyses the business needs and designs suitable intermediate infrastructure solutions to support business.
2. Continuously monitors and analyses the performance of the existing infrastructures to find areas to improve.
3. Designs and deploys appropriate infrastructure solutions in a secure manner with OT Security Team.
4. Keeps abreast of the latest technologies and understands the commercial drivers for his work.
5. Leads intermediate to large projects and ensures proper scheduling, resourcing, and successful delivery.
6. Maintains the existing infrastructures in specialized areas such as Virtual environment, server, etc.
7. Monitors and analyses the performance of existing infrastructures.
8. Performs routine checks and maintenance to existing infrastructures in specialized areas such as Virtual environment, server, etc.
9. Reviews technical design and analyses the performance of infrastructures to find areas for improvement.
10. Utilizes tools and technologies to facilitate database backup and migration.
11. Diagnoses hardware platform problems and recommends dynamic solutions.
12. Evaluates vendors of hardware, PCs, or workstations in the market; selects suitable products for the organization.
13. Assists in the installation, configuration, and support of information management software.
14. Audits and manages an inventory of various types of technology-related assets.
15. Produces, collates, and reports capacity-related measurements to examine application service levels.
16. Executes established procedures necessary to continue operations in an emergency.
17. Creates and maintains the data centre contingency documents and action plans.
18. Creates criteria to measure the performance of OT systems management.
19. Installs and supports anti-virus and security patches updates.
20. Designs access management, usage and change rules for users.
21. Performs periodic system backups and produces standard monitoring reports.
22. Tests the effectiveness of new or revised information security procedures and tools.
23. Designs appropriate and corrective actions for data security incidents.
24. Manages Virtual environment day-to-day operation and troubleshooting.
25. Manages cybersecurity controls day-to-day operation & troubleshooting.
26. Participates in OT cybersecurity assessment against national standard, international standard, and best practices.
27. Supports in cybersecurity incident investigation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
• 5 years of related experience.
