Job Purpose:

This Position exists to plan, control and monitor the execution of electrical related project tasks efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas:

1. Perform erection, testing and commissioning of Power / Distribution transformers at site and factory.
2. Perform troubleshooting, maintenance & testing of power / distribution transformers.
3. Inspect transformer upon arrival and perform necessary tests.
4. Check the availability of all the accessories for the transformer.
5. Check the impact recorders and collect data from them.
6. Check the requirements of crane or other equipment for the assembly or disassembly of the transformer at sites / factory.
7. Perform the routine electrical tests of transformer in factory and at site as per the International standards.
8. Perform the low voltage electrical tests at the site.
9. Plan day-to-day site activities for the timely completion of the job.
10. Perform the erection of the transformer accessories, vacuuming, oil filtration as per the laid down quality procedures.
11. Perform in-process testing of transformer during various stages of repair/manufacturing.
12. Coordinate with marketing, planning and the customer for gate passes / work permits for the execution of the jobs.
13. Ensure best practices are followed for the testing of Power and Distribution transformers.

Role Accountability:

1. HR Proficiency: Training of subordinates and forming a team to effectively achieve work. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work. Delegate tasks to subordinates and ensure fair distribution to maintain morale and motivation.
2. Delivery: Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
3. Problem-Solving: Resolve any related problems and escalate complex operational issues.
4. Quality: Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control processes including specifications for products or processes.
5. Business Process Improvement (Effectiveness): Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
6. Compliance: Comply with related policies & procedures and work instructions.
7. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
