Electro Mechanical Technician

Job Role: Responsible for investigating, diagnosing and repairing electrical-mechanical faults to ensure high standards of plant and equipment reliability, efficiency, cleanliness, and safety.

Tasks and Duties:

1. Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance according to work priorities and schedules.
2. Follow company procedures and rules at all times.
3. Ensure that electrical breakdowns are repaired as quickly and efficiently as possible.
4. Investigate problems and breakdowns and ensure that repairs correct the problem, not the symptoms.
5. Maintain the workshop in a clean, organized, and safe manner at all times.
6. Ensure that all oil and fluid spills and waste are cleared immediately.
7. Continuously seek ways and means of improving performance.
8. Train and develop non-maintenance staff in maintenance support activities.
9. Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out as detailed in the preventive maintenance checklists.
10. Advise supervisor of any additional repair work needed or spare parts requirements.
11. Complete paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
12. Maintain accurate records of all work done and time taken.
13. Be available to attend emergencies outside normal working hours.
14. Work effectively with the multi-cultural workforce.
15. Carry out similar or related work as directed by his direct superior.

Qualifications:

Related Diploma.

Experience:

Three years in the same field.
