The Role
Programmed Industrial Maintenance is currently seeking applications for a permanent position to join our maintenance team. Must be a safety conscious, self-motivated individual with the ability to work unsupervised within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to breakdowns and repairs.
- Ability to solve complex problems, think outside the box and a drive for solutions.
- Knowledge sharing and assisting in upskilling operators to minimise breakdowns.
- As part of the engineering team install and commission new equipment with a focus on ensuring the equipment consistently performs to the required function.
- Ensure all machine settings are operationally correct and are set in accordance with supporting documentation.
- Carry out preventative, planned corrective and reactive maintenance.
- Condition based maintenance and reliability-based maintenance inspections.
- Carry out repairs on faulty equipment and improve the reliability of the equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on equipment.
Preferred Qualifications/ Competencies
- Unrestricted SA Electrical license
- Industrial Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Available for overtime and call outs
- Familiarity with DCS/PLC systems, preferably Rockwell Automation products
- Drivers licence
- Indentured dual trade in Electrical and Instrumentation
- Flow, Level, Temperature, Pressure and consistency measurement and calibration
- Variable speed drives
- Gas burner management systems
- Communication protocols: Ethernet, Controlnet, Foundation Fieldbus, DeviceNet

- Currently hold a nationally accredited Working at Heights ticket.
- Currently hold a nationally accredited Confined Space Entry ticket.
