Electrical Technician – Solar

Job Description:

1. Work on implementation for solar PV power systems.
2. Perform electrical connections for solar PV System.
3. Perform cable termination, pulling, connection and supervision as per standard.
4. Perform cable tray/conduit installation and supervision.
5. Installation for LV transformer.
6. Utilize various types of testing and measuring equipment.
7. Conduct testing and inspections for solar system equipment, cables, transformers.
8. Supervise solar structure installation.
9. Support on-site visits to collect required details for solar projects.
10. Supervise cleaning activity for solar PV system.
11. Ensure standards for quality and health & safety are met.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in solar PV system implementation for on-grid.
2. Experience with rooftop and ground-mounted projects, with a track record of successful project implementation of solar PV projects.
3. Knowledge of electrical and photovoltaic systems.
4. Familiarity with solar PV system components.
5. Familiarity with solar PV system installation tools.
6. Familiarity with solar PV system testing tools.
7. Professional English speaking and writing skills.
