Electrical Technician

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Electrical Technician to support the electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment in a stone wool manufacturing facility. The technician will be responsible for ensuring continuous and safe operation of all electrical systems and supporting automation and control systems across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production equipment such as melting furnaces, spinners, forming machines, conveyor systems, curing ovens, and cutting machines.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Carry out regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure reliability and safety.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and update documentation.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in heavy manufacturing or process industries.
• Hands-on experience with motors, starters, PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley or equivalent), and VFDs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of industrial safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
