How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Ensure the efficient operation of equipment and machinery by overseeing and coordinating the maintenance team's activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • The Electrical (E) Technician is responsible for the E maintenance of the Qurayyah ASU.
  • He leads the E Technicians.
  • Schedule and organize the maintenance on the Electrical (E) facilities as per the maintenance strategy.
  • Instruct, supervise and control contractors.
  • If requested, he will perform site job himself.
  • The maintenance activities encompass: predictive maintenance (PdM), preventive maintenance (PM) and unscheduled maintenance.
  • The E Leader is also in charge of continuous improvement, safety supervision and on-the-job training for Electrical technicians.
  • Plan for the major turnarounds electrical scope.
  • Follow up all maintenance plans on Maximo CMMS & close the actions on due time.
  • Carry out the troubleshooting & emergency repair of installed electrical equipment/system.
  • Carry out root cause analysis for breakdowns due to electrical & implement action plans timely.
  • Preparing & maintaining of contact documents for contract jobs including AMC related to electrical maintenance & project jobs.
  • Spare parts planning, raising budgetary requests/purchase requisitions (PR) for spares and maintaining spares as per Contingency plan.
  • Maintaining & preserving the electrical spares.
  • Electrical Vendor development, major repair shop identification & qualification.
  • Follow up with procurement team for electrical requirements.
  • Understand & control the budget for electrical activities.
  • Working in Shift basis 12 hours Day/Night.
  • Support the Operation team for daily activity.

Are you a MATCH?

  • +10 years of experience in electrical field of refinery/petrochemicals.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance MV & LV motors.
  • Experience with MV & LV switch gears maintenance (Panels, Breakers, MCC, etc).
  • Experience in MV & LV transformers.
  • Experience with electrical items (earthing systems, UPS, battery chargers, Generators, etc).
  • Familiar with LOTO procedures.
  • Knowledge in transformer protection, alternator protection, breaker protection, and motor protection and Feeder Protection.
  • Knowledge in LAPT, NGR, GRP & Metering Panels.
  • Knowledge of medium voltage cable High-Potential Test.
  • Good Knowledge in Electrical single line drawings and control circuit drawings.
  • Knowledge in Electrical Testing Equipment: Megger 10kv, Hi-pot tester 100 kv, Multimeter, Clamp meter, Digital low resistance ohmmeter, Circuit Breaker Analyzer, Megger Earth tester, Voltage Detector, Oil Dielectric Tester, Battery load unit, True Rms AC/DC Clamp Meter, True Rms Digital Multimeter, Temperature Humidity Meter.
  • Acceptable safety awareness.
  • Strong English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Leadership and clear communications.
  • Knowledge of reading P&ID.
