Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer (Electrical) to join our dynamic team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and engineering, a strong understanding of technical products and solutions, and the ability to foster client relationships. This role is critical in identifying potential clients in the Saudi Arabian market and generating new sales leads and business inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Identification: Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities within the Saudi Arabian market. Understand market dynamics, client needs and requirements.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for generating new sales leads through networking, industry events, cold calls and direct outreach. Leverage existing contacts and build new relationships.
- Technical Expertise: Act as a technical resource for clients, providing in-depth product/service information and solutions. Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to understand product/service capabilities and align them with client requirements.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and value of our services & solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their business needs and propose tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
- Sales Forecasting: Monitor market trends and provide accurate sales forecasts to support business planning. Track key performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, technical support, and product management teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is a must.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, engineering or technical sales, preferably in electrical product/construction industry.
- Strong understanding of technical products and solutions relevant to our industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and generating new business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge in Arabic is an advantage.
