1. Academic Qualifications: For the Electrical QC Inspector position, a degree in Electrical discipline or equivalent is required. For the Telecom QC Inspector position, a degree in Telecommunication/Electronics or equivalent is required.
2. Experience: Overall, 5 years of experience after graduation is required for both positions. Out of these 5 years, 3 years must be in inspection activities, with 2 years specifically on contractor’s scope of work (e.g., Telecom projects, gas and petrochemical projects, Infrastructure, etc.).
3. Mandatory Requirement: Saudi Aramco experience in inspection activities is required. The interview with the client will include a written test based on Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAEP, Schedule Q, etc.).
4. Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English (spoken and written) is a MUST.
5. Document Understanding: Ability to read, understand, and utilize Saudi Aramco issued Quality documents (e.g., SAES, SAEP, SATIP, SAIC, National Electrical Code for Electrical QC Inspector) at construction sites.
6. Compliance: To comply with Schedule Q issued by Saudi Aramco, Project Quality Plan, and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
7. Quality Index: Aim at achieving a 100% Project Quality Index (PQI) and satisfying the client’s stringent Quality requirements. Aim to have no non-conformance discovered by Saudi Aramco that could lead to a Saudi Aramco issued Non-Conformance Report (NCR).
8. Non-Conformance Identification: Ability to identify non-conformances independently during site inspection visits against Saudi Aramco standards and guide subcontractors/construction team members to perform tasks in compliance with these standards and procedures.
9. Coordination: Ability to coordinate with Saudi Aramco inspectors independently to have Requests for Inspection (RFI) accepted by Saudi Aramco’s PID inspector during the first site visit.
10. Repeat Non-Conformance Prevention: Ensure that no repeat non-conformance occurs for similar activities/events that could lead to any of the following official records: 1. Repeat RFI 2. Repeat Surveillance Visit (SUR) by Saudi Aramco inspector 3. Repeat Internal NCR raised by QC inspector of Client 4. Repeat Aramco NCR.
11. Industry Standards Knowledge: Fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications; able to perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision.
