Role Description

We are seeking a Safety Officer with an Electrical Engineering background for a full-time, on-site role in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring workplace safety, compliance with industry standards, and risk management while applying their electrical engineering expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement and oversee safety programs related to electrical engineering activities.
2. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEBOSH, and Saudi Arabian safety regulations.
3. Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
4. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
5. Monitor and enforce electrical safety standards in projects.
6. Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure a safe work environment.
7. Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports.

Qualifications

1. Electrical Engineering degree (or related field).
2. 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering & safety roles.
3. Certified in OSHA & NEBOSH (Mandatory).
4. Strong knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, and safety protocols.
5. Experience with code compliance, risk assessment, and permitting processes.
6. Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and other industry software tools.
9. Previous experience in industrial and commercial projects is a plus.
10. Professional safety certifications (e.g., IOSH, NFPA 70E) are an advantage.
