Electric technician

The electric technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment in a plant setting. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in oil and energy plants
• Identify and assess electrical problems and provide solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the repair and maintenance of equipment
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and identify electrical issues
• Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Repair and maintain high-voltage electrical systems
• Train apprentices and other technicians on proper procedures of electrical systems in the plant
  
  
  

• Associate diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training
• 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing electrical systems in an oil and energy plant setting
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using hand and electrical tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in teams
• Willingness to work overtime and in different shifts when needed
