Intern - Accounting and Advisory

Function: Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC)

Location: Riyadh

Role & Responsibilities

As an Intern, you will work alongside our team of experts on a variety of client projects, assisting with technical accounting research, financial reporting, and advisory projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop your understanding of accounting principles, standards, and practices while contributing to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.)
2. Conduct research on complex accounting issues and present findings to team members
3. Support the team in preparing technical accounting memos and presentations for client engagements
4. Participate in client meetings and gain exposure to various industries and accounting practices
5. Assist in financial analysis, modeling, and data validation tasks
6. Work on ad-hoc projects, including process improvement initiatives and development of advisory reports

Qualification:

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP, IFRS)
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
