Operation Planner
Job description
Basic Function
Plan and coordinate transportation operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and materials.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Route Planning: Develop and optimize routes for transportation to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Scheduling: Create and manage schedules for drivers and vehicles.
- Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to align transportation plans with overall operations.
- Monitoring: Track and monitor transportation activities to ensure adherence to schedules and plans.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the transportation plan.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on transportation performance and metrics.
- Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with company policies and regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to provide updates and address any concerns.
Education And Qualification
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
Professional Experience
Previous experience in transportation planning or logistics is preferred.
