Accountant

Alkaffary Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. As an Accountant at Alkaffary Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and helping the company achieve its financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
2. Process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoicing and payment collections.
3. Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledgers, and other financial documents.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances as needed.
5. Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
6. Collaborate with auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
7. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
6. Strong communication and organizational skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
