Job Purpose - Field Service Engineer, will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating biological and health systems and products. He/She will collaborate with team to improve medical devices, equipment, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect the received machines (upon-arrival inspection) and/or the goods to be delivered (Pre-delivery inspection).
- Install and run the machines.
- Apply the equipment upgrades.
- Perform the in-service (present the machine operational parts to the user).
- Apply the Manufacturer’s preventive maintenance measures according to preset schedules agreed on with the Customer.
- Repair the out-of-control equipment, and collect the Labour charge and the price of the used spare parts.
- Decide on stocking the frequently needed spare parts.
- Sell and execute the service contracts.
- Generate and communicate sales leads to the sales team and report on Customers’ technical problems experienced with competitors.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in using biomedical instrumentation and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
