QA/QC Civil Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. To ensure that the Project Quality Plan is adhered to throughout.
2. To read and understand the Project Specifications/Standards and ensure all work is in compliance with approved drawings.
3. To raise and document site non-conformances and investigate the corrective action.
4. To document customer complaints.
5. To raise and implement Inspections and Test Plans for all activities in the Building and Industrial Sector.
6. To raise site inspection sheets with checklists.
7. To co-ordinate all site inspections and ensure that they are completed by the relevant personnel.
8. To correct non-conformances found during the Quality Manager’s or Accreditation Company’s Audit.
9. To maintain quality records in an orderly and easily accessible manner.
10. To ensure that incoming materials are adequately inspected and documented by the appropriate personnel.
11. To oversee the Quality Assurance/Control Systems of sub-contractors and ensure that they conform to specifications.
12. To ensure that external and internal testing is scheduled, conducted, and test results are reviewed for compliance.
13. Should have knowledge in their individual discipline in construction activities.

Job Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Overall six (6) years of relevant experience in the quality control field (three years in inspection specialty and three years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical projects).
