Industrial Electrical Technician/Marine Electrical Technician

In the industrial electrician role, you will ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment through proper installation, maintenance, and repair. You must be able to understand technical documents, such as schematics, detailing job instructions, and adhere to the statutory codes that apply to your work. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the continued successful completion of assigned tasks with minimized equipment downtime. Moreover, you will install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. They are employed by maintenance departments of factories.

Key Tasks and Duties

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Test and measure components of pneumatic systems.
• Test and measure electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance using electrical industrial instruments.
• Maintain and test electric motors.
• Identify and connect single-phase and three-phase 220-480 V.
• Identify and specify motor control circuit devices.
• Connect and maintain motor control circuits.
• Troubleshoot motor control circuits, PLC, and VFD.
• Report to maintenance in charge person.
• Apply safety instructions before and during work.
• You must be able to lift at least 5 kg.

• Electrical Industrial/Marine Electrical Technician: 3 years (Preferred)

• Industrial electrician from TESDA or MFI or any equivalent (Required)
