Role Overview:

Civil Site Engineer to oversee the civil activities inside Substation construction or expansion projects. He /She shall have extensive experience substation projects, ensuring all activities meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

What will you do?

• On-Site Management: Supervise and manage all civil engineering activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Safety Protocols: Enforce and adhere to strict safety guidelines to protect personnel and equipment in energized environments.
• Construction Oversight: Oversee construction activities, including excavation, foundation work, and structural installations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Coordination: Collaborate with electrical engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and reliability.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, safety assessments, and quality control documentation.

Experience and Education Required:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience working in HV substations, preferably with as a contractor
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• This position requires working on-site at the substation location.
• The role involves exposure to high-voltage equipment and requires adherence to strict safety protocols.
• Strong knowledge of substation construction practices and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with project management and planning software and tools.
• Project travel as required
