About the Role: The Chief / Head Concierge will be responsible for supervising and directing Concierge, Bell Desk activities and Bell Staff as well as Doormen, Valet Parking and airport transportation requirements. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct Concierge, Bell Desk activities and Bell Staff
Provide information on hotel services, local places of interest, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours, and other guest-related matters
Recommend hotel Food and Beverage outlets before outside restaurants
Ensure lobby is kept clean and ashtrays are maintained
Prepare efficient work schedules for Concierge, Doorman, and Bell Services
Ensure staff are neat, clean, and punctual at all times
Handle guest problems and liaise with department heads or executive management when necessary
Maintain departmental standards and procedures through on-the-job training
Conduct probation and performance appraisal discussions
Requirements:
Fluency in Arabic and English
Minimum 5 years experience as Chief / Head Concierge
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year (dependent on location and experience)
