Location: GCC
Salary: Approximately €11,500 per month + bonus, schooling allowance, medical, visa

An experienced and dynamic General Manager is required to oversee retail operations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and manage operations whilst ensuring commercial profitability and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to achieve excellent service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure team alignment and address any issues proactively.
  • Develop training programs for team development and succession planning.
• Sales & Revenue Growth:
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Analyze sales figures, forecast future sales, and adapt strategies to market conditions.
  • Oversee merchandising and promotional activities to ensure they align with brand standards and sales targets.
• Operational Management:
  • Ensure high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.
  • Handle budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures.
• Customer Service:
  • Champion customer service excellence, ensuring all customer interactions exceed expectations.
  • Address customer complaints and issues efficiently, turning challenges into opportunities for service enhancement.
• Compliance & Administration:
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records for sales, inventory, and staff management.
• Strategic Initiatives:
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to roll out new products, services, or initiatives.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitors to keep the business competitive.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years in retail management with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record in GCC retail markets is highly desirable.
