Staff Nurse

Overview

As a Staff Nurse, you will play an important role in providing and coordinating patient care within a healthcare facility. Your commitment, attention to detail, and clinical expertise will contribute to ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assessing patient health and documenting their medical history
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
3. Monitoring and reporting patient symptoms and changes in condition
4. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
5. Providing patient and family education on disease prevention and management
6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols
7. Participating in patient care conferences and staff meetings
8. Assisting with medical procedures and examinations
9. Documenting all patient care actions and interventions
10. Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care
11. Overseeing the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment
12. Supporting and mentoring nursing assistants and other staff
13. Adhering to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
2. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
4. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
7. Knowledge of patient care regulations and best practices
8. Demonstrated empathy and compassion in patient interactions
