Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development - Develop and implement overarching sales strategies for the team, aligning with company objectives - Analyze market data to forecast sales trends and set sales targets for the team
Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting clear targets and ensuring their achievement - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to help team members improve
Sales Process Optimization - Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness - Ensure the sales team is using Zoho CRM and other tools to their full potential
Budget Management - Manage the sales department's budget, allocating resources effectively to meet targets - Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as necessary to stay on budget
Reporting and Analysis - Prepare detailed sales reports and analysis for senior management, providing insights and recommendations - Monitor team performance against targets and KPIs, making adjustments to strategies as needed
Cross-Department Collaboration - Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure the sales strategy aligns with overall company goals - Lead interdepartmental projects that impact the sales function
Training and Development - Organize and lead training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve team performance continuously
Sponsorship Management - Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships - Identify potential sponsorship opportunities and negotiate agreements that align with the company’s event objectives - Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to integrate sponsorships seamlessly into events and ensure sponsor satisfaction
Requirements:
Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, with a strong background in the event industry - Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team to meet or exceed targets
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required - Advanced certifications in sales management or leadership are a plus
Technical Skills - Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Zoho CRM, with experience in sales process optimization - Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
