Lead Mechanical Engineer (Rotating / Static)

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer (Rotating / Static) to be based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

The Lead Mechanical Engineer (Rotating / Static) will be responsible for:

1. Ensuring high level support for both projects and confirming that design basis and main technical requirements and characteristics for centrifugal pumps such as flow rate, configuration, temperature, pressure, and differential pressure are met. Strong knowledge required in large size centrifugal crude and water pumps.
2. Providing support for both projects and confirming that design basis and main static equipment such as:
   • Electrostatic desalter
   • 2 and 3 stage separators
   • Heat exchangers up to 50 MW per unit
   • Degassing tank
   • Induced Gas Flotation
   • Advance Hydro cyclone
3. Strong experience in:
   • Storage tanks
   • Skim and degassing tanks
   • Vessels under pressure
   • Cartridge and nutshell filters
   • Large size fired heaters

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least Fourteen (14) years of experience. Ten (10) years of them within the field of Mechanical Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC experience at a similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Member of an appropriate professional organization.
