Testing & Commissioning Engineer responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Power Transformers.
Capacitor Banks.
Power Cables.
Identify areas of conflict between system requirements and designed schemes, and recommend corrective action in compliance with customer specifications.
Create/modify documents and drawings, including single-lines, three-lines, and wiring diagrams for power systems.
Review engineering diagrams and equipment ratings.
Ability to work closely with other engineering and design team members to coordinate overall design package and requirements.
Effectively communicate and coordinate project activities with managers and clients' engineers as needed.
Review project documentation (Specs, BoQ, Drawings, etc.) to extract owner requirements for commissioning methodologies and deliverables.
Prepare Commissioning Method Statements for each system/equipment in the project, completed with related checklists and forms in accordance with T&C codes.
Record, gather, and arrange information and user manuals to initiate comprehensive project manuals complying with project standards.
Participate in meetings with customers, consultants, contractors, and commissioning agents.
Ensure relevant timelines are met, and the quality of testing activities and documentation is as per customer and Giza Systems’ Quality policy.
Support engineering deliverables development through continuous communication with team members and technical status reports.
Ensure documentation relating to the project is properly and promptly dealt with in the correct contractual manner.
Understand the project milestones & deliverables and contribute to the overall profitability of projects, achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.
