A Reservations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the reservations department and ensuring a seamless booking experience for guests. Here are the typical day-to-day activities for this position:


Day-to-Day Activities of a Reservations Supervisor


  1. Overseeing Reservations: Managing and processing reservation requests, ensuring the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
  2. Guest Interaction: Handling guest inquiries and providing information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities.
  3. Team Supervision and Training: Leading and mentoring the reservations team to ensure high standards of service.
  4. Revenue Management: Monitoring room availability and adjusting rates to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Preparing and submitting reports on reservation statistics and maintaining accurate records.
  6. Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Addressing issues related to reservations and escalating complex issues as necessary.
  7. Coordination with Other Departments: Communicating with other departments to ensure guest requests are met.
  8. Ensuring Quality and Compliance: Ensuring all reservations handling complies with hotel policies.

What we need from you


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration / Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Two to three years of experience in a similar role.
  • International luxury hotel chain background.
  • GCC exposure.
  • English fluency is required; Arabic fluency is preferred.
