Teach the designated courses and perform the established teaching hours in accordance with Al Yamamah University regulations.
Prepare course syllabi and teaching materials, maintain current course syllabi, indicate course objectives, and submit them to the department head or dean and students. Syllabi should follow the YU template as approved by the department head or the dean.
Assist with student advice and monitor student progress, advising students on matters regarding academics, curricula, and careers, and holding regular office hours.
Commit to attending and teaching the curriculum in a timely manner and not to change the time and location of lectures without coordination with the department head or dean of the college. Plan in-class team activities and assignments; construct and grade student assessments; and prepare examinations.
Keep accurate records of class attendance and grades. Submit accurate grade reports and other requested administrative information promptly according to college or department due dates.
Supervise senior projects and internships.
Attend departmental and college periodic meetings; contribute ideas that will help to improve the scientific and administrative performance of the department.
Continuously maintain and improve the quality of the courses being taught and provide input for curriculum changes to enhance the overall quality of education.
Participate in research activities, academic counseling, and scientific committees as assigned by the college.
Submit all reports and documents required by EEC, such as course reports and course specifications.
Actively participate in the department's, college's, and university's community service activities under the supervision of the department head.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Accounting or related fields
Fluent in the English language and excellent writing skills
