Job Summary
The Patriot Machine & Electrical Winding & Repair Technician plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing generators essential to the operational readiness of Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) systems. This position involves diagnosing and identifying electrical faults in generators and executing precise repairs and rewinding of dynamos and generators, including 15, 30, and 150 KVA units. The technician tests generator dynamos under variable load conditions to ensure all performance specifications are met and system reliability is maintained.
Key responsibilities also include inspecting and testing generator parts using Depot Test Equipment (DTE) to identify issues and implement corrective measures. The technician provides on-site support to field units as needed and participates in the preparation of technical reports on system problems, offering expert advice to aid in problem-solving and system optimization. Additionally, the technician provides On-the-Job Training (OJT) to civilians and military personnel, sharing specialized knowledge and fostering professional development in generator testing, repair, and rewinding. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring the efficiency and functionality of critical generator systems supporting RSADF operations.
