Job Description

Responsibilities
His responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Develops and implements geospatial policies, procedures, and standards to support organizational objectives.
2. Directs the work of geospatial teams to ensure high-quality delivery of geospatial products and services.
3. Collaborates with other executives to identify, prioritize, and meet geospatial needs and requirements.
4. Oversees the acquisition, management, and dissemination of geospatial data products.
5. Maintains a comprehensive understanding of geospatial trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
6. Ensures that geospatial strategies and programs are aligned with the overall organizational objectives and mission.
7. Develops and monitors the geospatial budget, and ensures that all financial and regulatory requirements are met.

Job Requirements:
The post holder will have the following background:

1. Master degree in Geospatial Information, or a related field.
2. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified, or equivalent.
3. ISO geospatial data standards certification including ISO 19100 and ISO 9001 or equivalent.
4. Geospatial Quality Assurance (QA/Quality Control (QC) certification from American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) or equivalent.

Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of geospatial and its applications across various industries, specifically in national security, defense, and intelligence.
2. Conceptual and strategic analytical capacity to understand geospatial information systems and business operational issues.
3. Strong leadership and project management skills.
4. Excellent knowledge with geospatial data standards and policies; i.e NSG, ISO, IHO, DGWIG, NATO (STANG), OGC, W3C, SDO.
5. Strong analytical, verbal, and writing communication skills.
6. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.

Experience required:
20+ years of experience in geospatial management, with at least 10+ years in a leadership role.
