Job description

A Logistics Supervisor ensures efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods, manages logistics teams, optimizes supply chain operations, maintains inventory, and resolves issues to meet company goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to customers or between company facilities.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs documents (when applicable).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and on-time delivery of shipments.
  • Investigate and resolve any logistics issues or delays, including shipment discrepancies, inventory shortages, or damaged goods.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
  • More than 5 years of experience in logistics and or transportation coordination.
  • Experience with logistics software or inventory management systems is a plus.
