ITC Teacher (MATH)

Responsibilities:

1. Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
2. Teach mathematics to students using a variety of instructional methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
3. Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and homework assignments.
4. Provide individualized instruction and support to students who are struggling with math concepts.
5. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies for student success.
6. Monitor and manage student behavior in the classroom to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
7. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
8. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends and research.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
2. Minimum of 1-5 years of experience teaching math at the secondary level.
3. Strong knowledge of math concepts and the ability to effectively teach them to students.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Passion for teaching and a dedication to student success.
6. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
7. Experience using technology and digital resources to enhance instruction.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.
