Shipping Operation Manager

The Shipping Operation Manager at Salla will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our shipping operations and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers. This role requires strong leadership abilities and exceptional organizational skills to manage logistics, streamline processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and optimize shipping operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
2. Develop and implement shipping strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
3. Oversee the end-to-end shipping process, including order processing, pick and pack, labeling, and dispatch
4. Establish relationships with shipping carriers and negotiate contracts to secure the best rates and services
5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to shipping and logistics, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements
6. Coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate stock levels and timely restocking
7. Lead a team of shipping coordinators and warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support
8. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipping and delivery
9. Prepare reports on shipping performance and operational efficiencies for upper management

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
2. At least 5 years of experience in operations and shipping management, preferably in an e-commerce environment
3. Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, logistics best practices, and supply chain processes
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills
5. Proficient in logistics software, order management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
9. Experience with inventory management practices is a plus
