Job description

Purpose of Job:

Responsible to provide sales and services for a comprehensive range of hygiene chemical products, equipment, and packaged solutions for customers across the entire food service and hospitality industry. Mentors Sales staff. Maintains knowledge of standard work procedures and policies for performing all duties in a manner consistent with customer service, quality, financial management, and safety.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

  1. Enhances staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring sales team members.
  2. Maintain and grow sales within an existing territory of facility care, food service, and hospitality accounts, providing customers with sales demos, regular service, and ongoing training.
  3. Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  4. Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions. Sales are solutions-focused.
  5. Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; studies and recommends new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  6. Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  7. Champions quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  8. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
  9. Learn Reza Expert provided internal Hygiene Solutions; apply to customer needs as required.
  10. Follow-up with customers/finance on order/payment issues to complete the sales cycle.
  11. Work closely with Reza technicians to install and repair chemical dilution systems.
  12. Supports Sales staff accomplishments and competence by demonstrating solution-selling; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring teams.
  13. Provide a high level of prospecting and negotiation skills, promoting Reza Brand Excellence.
  14. Comply with Reza Standards, procedures, guidelines, and food safety/HACCP practices while installing and servicing equipment at customer premises.
  15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business or science strongly recommended.
  • 5 - 7 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience.
  • Working knowledge of hygiene and food safety systems.
  • Solid computer and systems knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a pleasant attitude.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in the English language.
