Job description

Responsible for answering all incoming telephone calls, satisfying customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, arranging appointments, and conducting pre- and post-service follow-ups.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive guest inquiries either personally or through telephone and direct inquiries or telephone calls to the appropriate parties as necessary and determine if the inquiries can be handled by the receptionist and satisfy the customers reason for calling if possible.
  • Conduct pre- and post-service follow-up and assist the Service Advisors in contacting customers whose vehicles are scheduled for maintenance check-up or services.
  • Answer all incoming service department calls according to the company's policies and good telephone etiquette and take messages or inquiries and route them to the concerned associates or staff for resolution or mitigation.
  • Assist the service advisors in contacting guests/customers whose vehicles have been serviced to inform them that their vehicles are ready for delivery or pick-up.
  • Take written messages for occupied personnel and notify them as soon as possible regarding pending issues or arrange appointments for the guests if the meeting does not take place.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Diploma in Automotive or Equivalent.
  • English Language: Basic knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a receptionist.
  • Great organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
