Minimum Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector with EPC Contractors
Job Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of purchased parts, materials, and equipment according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements.
Reject materials or accepted materials as per the approved workflow.
Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards.
Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.
Assist in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists.
Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to Supervisors.
Perform review of Device History Records and other documentation for compliance with established procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into the quality database.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Perform all daily inspections and tests of the scope of work and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
Carry out inspection and checking for all quality-related procedures on site and ensure activities are as per approved method statements and inspection test plans.
Coordinate with the consultant's representative and Site In-charge for inspections and meetings about quality problems, including closure of Non-Compliance Reports.
Report to the QA/QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to the Quality Management System, QMS.
Take care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Site Instructions (SI).
Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, with thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural disciplines interfacing with multidisciplinary operations.
Develop method statements for activities including risk assessments and job safety environmental analyses and Inspection Test Plans and Checklists based on project specifications.
Carry out Internal Audits at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP.
