Electrical Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in machinery and systems.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
4. Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
5. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
6. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system performance.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
8. Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Electrical Technology or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
4. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
5. Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
