Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in HVDC, EHV, and HV projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of high-voltage engineering projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

• Project Engineering: Lead and manage engineering aspects of HVDC, EHV, and HV projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and commissioning.
• Design Review: Analyze and approve electrical designs, specifications, and layouts, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and solutions for complex engineering challenges related to high-voltage systems.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) standards and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Testing & Commissioning: Oversee testing and commissioning activities for high-voltage equipment and systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.S. in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Communication Engineering.
• 10 years of experience (5 years as Project Engineer in HVDC & EHV/HV Projects).
• Previous experience with SEC is preferable.
• Experience with High Voltage.
• Active SCE Membership.
