What You Will Do:

The Patriot Major Item Repairman (MIR) supports the Deep Maintenance and Refurbishment (DMR) Program for the Royal Saudi Arabia Defense Forces (RSADF). The MIR will provide in-depth system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting skills required to resolve complex Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEI) electronic and mechanical problems, and assist in testing, check-out, repair, and maintenance of all Patriot MEIs. Additionally, provide advice and demonstrate methods for diagnosis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in isolating hardware and software problems, assistance with fault isolation/diagnostic procedures, and on-the-job and informal training as required for maintenance technicians.

The MIR installs authorized third echelon modifications and provides day-to-day execution and oversight of the refurbishment and modification processes, as well as demonstrating the ability to perform depot level diagnostic, fault isolation, cleanup, and repair capability for Patriot Weapon System MEIs. The MIR must affect all electronic repairs on location with detailed system knowledge, and the ability to use all of the hardware and software tools currently available to Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance. The MIR also monitors work performed by subordinates to ensure it meets or exceeds established quality standards. Perform other duties and activities as directed. This position is for an international assignment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in the city of Jeddah.

Qualifications You Must Have:

1. Demonstrated 4 years of field maintenance experience troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional verifications of the Patriot Air Defense system or similar electronic systems using maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, BITE, tools, and available test equipment.
2. Demonstrated experience in the operation, sustainment, and operations of the Patriot Missile System Radar equipment.
3. Trained and knowledgeable in the operation, sustainment, and troubleshooting procedures of the Patriot System.
4. Knowledge with the operational/analytical software used on the Patriot System.
5. Experienced in using Engagement Control Station (ECS) troubleshooting software aids Status Monitor, Switch 9, System Exerciser, and Radar Action Cycler, in order to distinguish between digital and analog problems.
6. Demonstrated experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, to include integration and checkout.
7. Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 27X/34S/94S/916A/918D/140E or an equivalent course of instruction on Patriot system conducted by the military or the system contractor.
8. Must be able to obtain a Saudi Arabia work Visa.
9. Must have active Secret security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

1. Above qualifications plus five (5) years Patriot field maintenance experience.
2. Demonstrated experience of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and checkout (SICO) process.
3. Demonstrated comprehensive planning skills.
4. Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with special focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the business.
6. Demonstrated experience with training of team members.

Education:

1. Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of related experience, or associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 8 years of related experience.
2. Graduate of the US Army 94S or 140E course or equivalent.

Additional Information:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
