Job Purpose
BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

Job Accountabilities
The Head of Transformation and Resilience is accountable to the TSS Programme Director for the successful definition, mobilisation and delivery of selected Transformation / Resilience projects and activities across TSS.

Ensure appropriate investments are catered for through the TSS CSR or alternative methods, to strengthen our position with a view of OSD planning.
Undertake focused Strategic Workforce Planning activities with a TSS focus to ensure appropriate risks & opportunities are identified and actions taken to ensure a long term sustainable workforce plan is implemented.
Ensure sustained appropriate focus through the programme to actively manage the Project Office and Operational Customer groups.
Programme, operational and business focus should be to ensure that we can continue to support the RSAF Tornado fleet through to OSD and not limited through to the end of the contracted TSS period of performance.
A specific risk assessment should be commissioned to understand Tornado Obsolescence on our ability to support the RSAF Customer (and wider operators) with a global Tornado fleet focus and assessment for individual operators.
Bolster the localised TSS Fleet Management activities with support from the Support & Services Global Fleet Management Capability to ensure a robust Tornado drawdown plan can be developed and exercised.
Bolster the localised TSS Reliability & Maintainability capability with support from the Support & Services Global R&M Capability to ensure a robust Tornado approach is developed and exercised.
Additional focus and potential escalation towards establishing a recovery plan for the current & forecasted engine position to avoid impacting fleet performance.
Complete an end-to-end RACI definition and ensure that all stakeholders understand and commit to their specific responsibilities and interfaces.
Undertake scenario planning exercise and mapping of interfaces associated to TSS to KSA Future Fighter, including variability of OSD assumptions, draw-down/ramp-up activities, air force capability and relationships.
Establish a data strategy & toolset plan that ensures the teams have access to the required capabilities to manage the programme performance, with an accelerated implementation of IMS and SPARTAN capabilities.
Undertake a review of the volume of transformation & change progressing across the programme and implement a revised organisational sizing and CONOPS to help manage.
Engage with CCPM practitioners to establish CCPM techniques in On and Off Aircraft maintenance activities. Potential exploration across the full enterprise.
Engage with the Support & Services Function to allow assembly of as much relevant experience / knowledge from Tornado ATTAC to support TSS.
Engage with Support Functions in KSA and UK to establish routes for HIPO employees.
As part of Recommendation 12 establish an approach to change management.
