HSE Inspections Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to HSE policies, procedures and controls
2. Set HSE requirements and monitor adherence to the requirements
3. Monitor compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across project
4. Ensure that contractors adopt recommended safety technology and equipment during project delivery
5. Maintain and update consolidated statistical data of all HSE incidents
6. Manage research initiatives on HSE issues
7. Advise on environmental monitoring and compliance
8. Produce an environmental development plan for post-construction if needed
9. Prequalify contractors and other service providers on environmental policies and qualifications
10. Conduct HSE compliance audits of projects and operations
11. Participate in the development and implementation of design office and project safety plans
12. Assign and provide technical supervision of safety performance, qualifications and programs
13. Conduct safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections

Education:

Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent

Experience:

7+ years experience in an HSE function working directly with engineering contractors
