HSE Inspections Manager
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to HSE policies, procedures and controls
- Set HSE requirements and monitor adherence to the requirements
- Monitor compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across project
- Ensure that contractors adopt recommended safety technology and equipment during project delivery
- Maintain and update consolidated statistical data of all HSE incidents
- Manage research initiatives on HSE issues
- Advise on environmental monitoring and compliance
- Produce an environmental development plan for post-construction if needed
- Prequalify contractors and other service providers on environmental policies and qualifications
- Conduct HSE compliance audits of projects and operations
- Participate in the development and implementation of design office and project safety plans
- Assign and provide technical supervision of safety performance, qualifications and programs
- Conduct safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections
Education:
Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent
Experience:
7+ years experience in an HSE function working directly with engineering contractors
